The Future Leaders Trust is pleased to invite primary and secondary colleagues in Southwark to join its bespoke National College-accredited NPQSL programme, Leading Impact.
Leading Impact focuses on providing aspiring senior leaders with the skills and experiences to lead real impact in school and will be delivered at the University Academy of Engineering, Southbank between late October and June.
Our lead facilitators are Liz Robinson, Headteacher of Surrey Square Primary school, and Sue Raynor, Leadership Consultant. They have over 30 years’ senior leadership experience between them.
Liz Robinson has a particular interest in values-based leadership and communication focused on developing authentic, sustainable system leaders. As a working mum of two young girls, Liz is particularly keen to support and encourage women into leadership.
Sue Raynor trains senior teams, middle leaders and governing bodies in key areas such as strategic planning and monitoring and reviewing systems works on a consultancy basis as a Challenge Adviser in south-east Wales.
In addition to the core seven days of training, trainees have access to the Future Leaders online network, the option to attend Future Leaders events and receive dedicated support from The Future Leaders Trust’s staff.

Registering
We run programmes throughout England according to regional demand. We accept new registrations on a rolling basis with programmes starting in the Summer and Autumn terms. If you miss the start date for your closest cycle, we will offer a place in the nearest alternative location.
Price
£1500 per attendee
Package deals are available for your school or academy group. The National College provides a range of scholarships on a first‐come, first‐served basis. You can pay directly or your school can sponsor you. You will need the full support of your school to attend the workshops on school days and to complete the required in‐school work.
Supporting you to transform your leadership practice
Leading Impact . NPQSL is a one‐year leadership development programme for current and aspiring senior leaders. We focus on giving you the skills you need to help close the attainment gap.
Quality leadership development
Training is delivered through one‐day workshops and amounts to over 45 hours of face‐to‐face leadership development. It is facilitated by exceptional school leaders who have made sustained wholeschool impact. Topics covered include leadership and change; Teaching and Learning; data analysis and interventions; leading people; and planning for the future.
NPQSLSuccessful trainees will gain the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership, accredited by the National College for Teaching and Leadership. We will provide access to all materials necessary for completion and support you throughout the process, while focusing learning on closing the attainment gap.
Our expert network
The course’s content is informed by the Trust’s expertise in developing heads for challenging schools and focused on our mission to eradicate educational disadvantage. As a Leading Impact NPQSL trainee you will gain Associate Future Leader status which gives you access to the support of our network of 350+ school leaders via regular events and an online portal.
