Previous experience of supporting staff or schools:

I have been an SBM for the past 6 years. I have previously supported primary schools with post audit action planning, ensuring an effective action plan is available for Headteachers and School Business Managers to return to auditors. I have worked with Headteachers to give them advice about how to plan for managing school catering in house. Highlighting various factors such as suppliers, TUPE transfer and how to manage a menus. Prior to becoming a School Business Manager I worked in retail banking for 10 years. Our main focus was on customer service, I have brought these skills to John Donne, to ensure we offer high levels of service to parents and stakeholders. I believe that everyone should be welcomed into the school community this has led to me assisting Headteachers with reorganisations of their admin teams and reviewing role and responsibilities.
